Happy Holidays, everyone!

Okay, now that we got that formality out of the way...

LET’S ROCK!!!

Plasterkatz is starting 2009 off right with a show at – you guessed it – Irelands 32! On Friday, January 2nd! And since the holidays are a time for family, we’re keeping with the spirit and sharing the stage with some acts that might seem somewhat familiar.

Before Plasterkatz, Aaron and I, along with Ben Seeman, played together at the apartment Ben and I shared in Oakland, debuting ourselves publicly at Molotov’s on Haight in SF. We called ourselves Ugly Child, and on January 2nd we’ll be performing together again under the Ugly Child flag for the first time in... jeez, like 6 years?

Ben, meanwhile, has moved onto other projects, one being Just Henry, a uke-centric quartet with myself, Holly, and Laura Brueckner. Henry will be making an appearance that same night.

And since we’re on the subject of Ben Seeman, he and his brother Russ and their friend Ray have formed a trio called Suboptimal, and they’ll also be at Irelands 32 to strut their stuff and warm you up for Plasterkatz!

So, to summarize:
