Hey folks!
In all honesty, from a far east bay kind of person (when I'm writing my graffiti I write "925" and "94513" and "B-Town"), and since the bridge is closing Friday night, apparently before all the music and such starts up, I want to figure out if there's a BART station anywhere near Geary, or if anyone there might have a vehicle available to pick up one good looking guy, and maybe (maybe) his wife or friends from BART, and even hitch us a ride back to BART after the show (Hell, it's payday, so we could even get a taxi).
When I heard on the news that it might take 1.5 hours to get to the Golden Gate Bridge, or the San Mateo Bridge, I pooped my pants. Started having 2nd thoughts about getting all the way out to SF with no way back.
So....a shout out to all my SF people - is BART even close to Geary?

Re: Ack! gettin' to SF for PK @ I-32
Tue, August 28, 2007 - 6:26 PMBART isn't close to *that* part of Geary at all. I'll be making my way out there from the FiDi by bus. Probably getting back to the downtown BART stations that way too. If you guys don't find a ride, you're welcome to rough it with me. -

Tue, August 28, 2007 - 7:09 PMthere's another post in this tribe about htat. you can BART to downtown from the East Bay and then take t he 38 Geary to I32 and back. BART is running all night..
I'd recommend driving to the Oakland area and BARTing in from there.

Re: Ack! gettin' to SF for PK @ I-32
Tue, August 28, 2007 - 7:47 PMBen is correct in saying about the Bart and Bus. If you are taking bart. Get off at Powell street station. Walk up to geary st. Then take the 38 geary heading toward the beach. Get off at 2nd St and Geary. Once you see the Burger King, you get off the bus.
If you any question, e-mail me

Tue, August 28, 2007 - 10:04 PMOh yeah! You got that Volvo! OK, I think this might work! Thanks for everyone jumping in to the rescue with ideas! Now I have to decide between taking the bus, getting rough with Sarah, or hopping in a white station wagon.
Oh yeah- if you wind up dumping my body after the show, put me in a nice position, okay? :-P -
